Two Great Cowboy Hats from Bailey Western

Bailey has been making cowboy hats since 1922. That’s the year that George S. Bailey founded the Los Angeles, CA company that bears his name today. Many a Hollywood leading man has had his picture taken in a Bailey hat. In the 1930’s and 40’s luminaries such as Bing Crosby, Buster Crabbe, and Gary Cooper all appeared in advertising for Bailey hats. Shown above are the Albion and Tornado from the Bailey Western Collection. Side-by-side, the 100X Albion (left-side of photo) is the slightly more refined hat with a 4" brim and cattleman style crown, but the 20X Tornado is no slouch with an equally wide 4" brim and vented stockman’s crown. Both of these hats are built Bailey tough for riding, or a night out on the town.
