Powered by a tiny solar panel and energy storage cell, this watch uses light from any source to power it’s internal quartz movement. No need to wind, or change batteries. Ever. Water resistant to 100 meters, this all stainless steel watch features 1 second chronograph measurement up to 60 minutes, 12/24 hour time, and calendar date. The watch comes with a canvas strap that is suitable for outdoor activities, but a tad understated for business or formal attire. The Herradura, designed by Bozeman Watch Company CEO Christopher Wardle, was inspired by Boston Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett’s 7,000 acre Herradura Ranch. Limited to 53 individually numbered pieces, each watch bears Josh Beckett’s engraved signature on the stainless steel case. Certified by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) in Geneva, Switzerland to meet the highest standard of mechanical timepiece accuracy, the Herradura features 24 jewels with 28,800 vibrations per hour, a Val Granges automatic caliber movement, raised Arabic numerals, raised gold markers with luminescence, water resistance to 330 feet, convex sapphire crystal, and a hand-made leather strap.
